Pura Vida Tacos

Taco Meat
325g Ground Beef
165g Ground Pork
1.5 Tbsp Pura Vida Taco Seasoning (can add more to taste)
Other Ingredients
1 Avocado
1 Bunch Cilantro
1 Red Onion
12 Tortilla Shells
1/2 Cup Crema (can substitute for sour cream, add a tbsp of water to thin it out)
2 Limes
Your Favourite Hot Sauce (optional)
Place pork and beef in a bowl, add taco seasoning and mix well. Set aside for at least 30 min to let marinate.
Wash cilantro, slice red onion and slice avocado.
Bring a medium size frying pan to medium heat, add ground meat and keep tossing and breaking up the meat with a spatula to create a semi-fine consistency. Once the meat is cooked through, approximately 8-10 mins depending on heat, place in a bowl with a paper towel to soak up the grease.
Wipe off the pan with a paper towel leaving behind a minimal amount of grease to cook tortilla shells. Cook for approximately one min per side, depending on heat. You should see them slightly bubble when ready.
Now it is time to plate; add taco shells to a plate, add meat, lightly squeeze lime on the meat, place red onion, sliced avocado, crema, and cilantro, and add your favourite hot sauce (hot sauce optional).
Margarita
2 oz Mezcal
1.5 oz Triple Sec
1 oz Tequila
1 oz Freshly Squeezed Orange
Juice of 1-2 Limes
2 Tbsp Ethical Table Pura Vida Taco Seasoning (for rim)
Ice Cubes - Shaker
Combine tequila, mezcal, triple sec, orange and lime juice in a shaker with ice, shake well.
Put 1 Tbsp Pura Vida Taco Seasoning on a small plate. Coat the rim of your glass with lime and cover glass in taco seasoning. Add ice cubes to glass, pour margarita mix over ice, add jalapeno or lime as garnish and enjoy with your tacos!
